The Geotech Vane Tester cross probe enables the FVT (Fiueld Vane Test) to be performed with full electronic recording of the shear. The EUROCODE model is equipped with a shoe protecting the wings during their insertion into the ground and a system of protective rods. The head of the device contains a drive unit with an electric motor and gear unit as well as a measuring and recording system. The design and dimensions of the head allow for quick and easy mounting on the GEORIG 220 penetrometer.
